RelayPort™
With Robots anchoring your warehouse team, order fulfillment becomes a synchronized sprint to the finish when demands are high.
A Strategy for Speed
RelayPort provides a speedy and versatile way to handle heavy workloads. The workstation consists of a picking location (called a "Touch") and a series of roller conveyors and cross wagons (called "Tabs") that carry Bins to and from the operator. Designed for quick movement, Robots reach put positions from any direction. With a max of 6 Tabs, you can start small and add Tabs as needed for more capacity.
Performance
Record Setting
Designed to use human and robot power to the maximum, RelayPort is our fastest workstation, ever. Multiple Robots deliver to central cells, creating a rapid flow of Bins to the operator. Minimum exchange time for this Port is less than 3 seconds. With all 6 Tab modules in place, the Port can handle up to 650 Bins per hour.

Usability
Safe & Accessible
An access area between RelayPort and Grid is accessible from two sides, giving service personnel the ability to reach the Port's interior from different angles. Easy-to-use "bin stopper knobs" resembling arcade joysticks provide a simple and safe way to remove service covers, resolve issues, and quickly restart operations.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Are the maintenance access panels on the tab modules of the RelayPort locked with a mechanical key, locked with an electrical interlock device like the grid door, or not locked at all?
No, it’s locked with a mechanical device. However, if you open the access panels the Port will stop. But you can open it without any key or lock.
-
Is it possible to install port frames for the RelayPort to prepare for future extensions?
It is not possible because the RelayPort frame is the actual tab module, which contains a lot of electronics not possible to mount later on-site. It must arrive preassembled.
In general, installing a RelayPort is a relatively simple process. Therefore, advanced adjustment to the Grid does not save much time. -
What throughput can we expect from the RelayPort?
The RelayPort is built to handle up to 650 Bins per hour per Port. The modularity of the Port allows you to add from 2 to 6 Tab modules to buffer more Bins inside the Port.
